The Jingle: Best Western Cunningham Place
The Story: I’m going back 22 years for one of the most rewarding sales I’ve ever made.
It was a tough journey from Atlantic City to Newark Airport through heavy snow. I had a 3pm flight to Chicago and to my surprise we departed on time.
Landing in Chicago was no easier since heavy snow was battering the Windy City that afternoon. I pick up a car rental and headed out on the treacherous three hour car ride to Champaign, Illinois.
When I entered the Best Western Cunningham Place and approached the hotel check-in counter, the fellow behind the desk asked, “What brings you to Champaign in a snow storm?”
I told the guy I sell musical jingles for Radio/TV Spots. Before my luggage hit the ground he said, “Great idea. Sign me up. I’ll take one!”
